Fall is setting into the Pacific Northwest, and I’m (mostly) fine with that. Grey, rain, not particularly warm. “Stay-inside” weather. I prefer summer, but the changing seasons are nice. This, and adjacency to multiple biomes, is why we moved to Oregon!
On our last visit to California (outside the Disneyland bubble), I noticed more of the in-between places. Oregon’s in-betweens, at least along the western part of the state, are way more interesting than California’s between San Jose and Monterey. Grasslands remain not-my-thing.
